Description and Qualifications
The Laundry Manager will provide general guidance and supervision of laundry personnel and oversee the proper operation and usage of all laundry equipment and chemical selection to provide an effective and efficient laundry service to the property.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversees quality control of High Hampton linen and laundry.
Manages laundry flow for optimal efficiency.
Receives and expedites all department needs.
Understands basic chemical mixes.
Oversees chemical selection and purchasing.
Maintains OSHA standards at all times.
Maintains all laundry inventory and equipment with proper preventive maintenance measures.
Verifies and records inbound shipments of materials.
Records all laundry received, processed, and delivered to the outlets.
Conducts periodic inventory counts to ensure proper par levels are maintained.
Understands the short and long term needs to maintain a proper inventory.
Manages the laundry schedule as needed.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
Laundry Supervisor and Laundry Attendants
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Inventory management is preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors, team members, and managers.
Knowledge and understanding of basic math.
Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to work with hot presses and steam in the laundry facility.
May be required to go outside in all weather conditions.
May be asked to drive a company vehicle or golf cart.
