Teen Program Coordinator Full Time Part Time

SUMMARY: Assist in planning, preparation, and delivery of enriching programs to teens ages 13-18.  Provide programming support in all areas and work closely with the Program Director to facilitate grant-funded programs. Participate in all required training and development opportunities.

KEY FUNCTIONS: 

Ensure physical and emotional safety of Club members and promote safety as a core value at BGCP.
Provide guidance and positive role modeling to youth.
Encourage program participation in a fun, enriching environment.
Occasional administrative duties (including/not limited to making copies, filing, answering phones, etc)
Plan, prepare, and lead, and assist activities for Club members including BGCA programming.
Facilitate teen-targeted programs.
Plan & facilitate Keystone, Torch Club, and other BGCA teen programs.
Create and maintain a daily teen program schedule.
Plan and implement specialized teen programs (field trips, late nights, etc).
Communicate & organize teen programs with other Clubs.
Develop and implement career and workforce preparation programs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and strike daily programming equipment
Daily problem solving, critical thinking, and ability to adapt
Assist other Club staff in cleaning and disinfecting Club facilities per CDC guidelines

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

Experience in working with youth strongly preferred
Desire to motivate and provide an enriching environment for youth.
CPR and First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be in moderate physical shape (able to stand for long periods of time, walk, and occasionally run without tiring), may be required to lift up to 55 lbs.
