The Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time, administrative support intern 2 days a week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (exact days are negotiable). General tasks include assisting with visitor inquiries and collateral at the visitor center, distribution of information materials to various business locations in the Cashiers Area, telephone/email/mail response support, event coordination assistance and other general administrative responsibilities as required.
Applicant must: Have area knowledge of local businesses, restaurants, retailers and recreation options. Strong communications, organization and time management skills. Personable and polite character is a must! Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs is preferred. Must be able to lift boxes of print materials (~20 lbs.).
About the Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce: We serve as an Advocate for business, Information Source for the community and Conduit for building destination awareness and responsible growth.
