Hospitality Operations Managers – Full and Part Time

Hotel Cashiers is looking to hire self-motivated and detailed oriented team members to join us as operations managers and assistant managers starting immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for well rounded, customer oriented individuals to develop a wide range of operational, managerial, and leadership skills and to grow with a young, supportive, and fun team operating a boutique hotel in the WNC mountains. These roles have the potential to quickly grow into greater responsibilities for the right individuals!

Our operations team is our boots on the ground at the hotel and is perfect for anyone who loves to create unique and perfect experiences and who thrives at problem solving. This is one of the most versatile roles at the hotel and is perfect for anyone who finds fulfillment in wearing a variety of hats and in learning how all aspects of the hotel business is run. You will get exposure and training in customer relations, basic business skills, communication, operations management, people management, and other creative aspects of the business.

Depending on the role, shift, and time of year, key responsibilities may include:

• Respond to day-to-day guest requests, issues, and handle other special items as they arise (i.e., coordinating special in-room items for wedding or other groups)
• Perform housekeeping quality inspections and inventory checks in our rooms to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and that each room is set to impress when guests check-in
• Set up of VIP in-room amenities (and we do get some pretty impressive VIPs!)
• Oversee daily laundry process (shift dependent) to ensure that housekeeping team is able to complete daily laundry duties on time
• Assist guests checking in and calling to inquire about the hotel to ensure they have an amazing first impression
• Take new and modify existing guest reservations
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues (e.g., WiFi connectivity, resetting guest door keys, Heat/AC setting, TV remote controls)
• Providing guests recommendations for dining, outdoor activities and other things to do to help them have an awesome experience
• Assist with inventory duties such as tracking toiletry and supply counts, organizing new deliveries from vendors, and preparing orders for new supplies
• Help maintain working spaces including office, storage closets, laundry room, and other light cleaning duties as assigned

Looking to fill shifts for both weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings. Part-time and full-time roles available and flexible schedules may be agreed upon for the right individual. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you and are open to discuss your availability!
